Jim Brennan ’85 featured at Evening of Reflection

The Loyola Society hosted the annual Evening of Recollection on Tuesday, October 18 at St. Mary of the Assumption Chapel. This year’s guest speaker was Saint Ignatius Theology teacher and soccer coach Jim Brennan ’85. He spoke about Mary as the Model Disciple for current and past parents, alumni and friends of Saint Ignatius High School. Video from his talk is available below.

Jim Brennan ’85 teaches in the Theology Department at Saint Ignatius High School where he teaches courses in Ecclesiology and the Sacraments. As the Director of Irish Studies at the school, he brings students from Saint Ignatius and Walsh Jesuit to Ireland each summer to study the peace process that ended the 30-year Troubles in the North. He is head coach of the JV soccer team and moderator of the St. John Berchmanns Altar Server Society as well as co-moderator of Cats Kick Cancer. Jim is a 1989 graduate of the University of Notre Dame with degrees in history and Theology. He received his MA in Religious Studies from John Carroll University in 1994. Jim and his wife of twenty-five years, Kristin, reside in Strongsville with their three children – Kathleen, Annie, and Danny ’19, and is a member of St. Charles Parish.
