The George R. Blaha ’57 Family honored with Magis AwardDecember 15, 2016
On Sunday, December 4, the Magis Award was presented to The George R. Blaha ’57 Family.
Presented each year at the concert, this award honors extraordinary individuals or families who exemplify the magis, a Latin word meaning “more” or “something beyond the required.” We honored George and Terese Blaha and their family for supporting Saint Ignatius High School with humble sincerity and deep generosity over many years. Their leadership and philanthropy continues to impact the lives of many Saint Ignatius students in their journey to become Men for Others.
Thanks to Patrice Campbell for her generosity as the Presenting Sponsor for the 32nd Annual Christmas Concert. In addition, we recognize the Gift of the Class of 1968 as the Dinner Sponsor and thank them for their support. We continue to be a school where sons of families of modest means receive the highest quality Jesuit education in preparation for service to the Church and the world. Your support allows us to do just that.
