Alumni Share Their Stories with Current StudentsFebruary 16, 2017
A big thank you to alumni John Kane ’01, Mike Foran ’00 and Nolan James ’04 who returned to their Alma Mater to talk to current students about their chosen career paths.
Kane is currently employed at Ancora as Senior Vice President, Family Wealth Advisor. He previously worked for Merrill Lynch, in account services and National City Corporation in wealth management. John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in Finance from Xavier University and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from Cleveland State University. He spoke to students as a part of our Career Speaker Series hosted by College Counseling.
Foran returned to Saint Ignatius on Tuesday, February 14, to speak to a group of interested potential entrepreneurs. As Co-Founder – Operational Partner at Market Garden Brewery, Bier Markt, Bar Cento and Nano Brew, he shared with our students what it takes to succeed in business ventures.
James returned as a part of our Black History Month Speaker Series to share his experiences as a student at Saint Ignatius High School and his path to the legal field following graduation. He is currently the Director of Admissions at the University of Akron, School of Law, and operates a private law practice. He reminded the students that, “You are blessed so that you may be a blessing to others.” James was recently featured in the Fall 2016 issue of Saint Ignatius Magazine. READ MORE
